Yet again Mr. Driftglass and I shared fine lamb over Cognac and - whooboy - did he drop some tasty meat (entendre?)
It turns out our Mr. Glass is not simply a humble Scribner passing his insightful missives down to the rest of us slobs. No: Mr. Driftglass does classified work for the State. Let me repeat that: much of what Mr. Glass is doing is information control for the state (a specific administration? No, let's just say apple pie, momma, courageous little eaglets, good old Uncle Sam, the red, white, and blue, and the American way of life) and that that's why so much of his work is slippery in both tone and persona. Think of him as a kind of American Zorro, mask and all.
I was also pleased to find out the Mr. Glass and I share a common interest in mental disabilities, specifically in that both of us share a sibling with Down Syndrome. .

Three Blogs, One Band?
Interestingly enough, between Tbogg, Driftglass, and myself, we all share an appreciation for The Magnetic Fields, which is, let's say, not exactly mainstream.

One Aim, Two Blogs?
These two fine writers, Driftglass and Tbogg . . . they simply couldn't be the same writer - despite having the same humor, political orientations, and acerbarity . . . Who is it? Who are they?
